What to look for.
I can’t be everywhere all the time so sometimes I need to refer people to other photographers that I know and trust – If I am not availalbe here is my list of things to consider when hiring a professional photographer to photograph for you:
- Experience and Portfolio: Look for a photographer who has experience working with both people and pets, and ask to see examples of their work to ensure that their style and quality meet your expectations.
- Communication and Professionalism: Ensure that the photographer is responsive, attentive, and communicates well. Professionalism is key when working with someone who will be capturing important moments for you and your loved ones.
- Flexibility: Consider whether the photographer is willing to work with you to create a customized plan that meets your specific needs and preferences.
- Safety: It’s essential that the photographer you hire takes appropriate measures to ensure the safety and well-being of your pets during the photo shoot.
- Pricing and Packages: Be sure to understand the pricing and packages offered by the photographer, including any additional fees for prints or digital copies of your photos.
- Reviews and Testimonials: Look for reviews and testimonials from previous clients to get an idea of their experiences working with the photographer.
Overall, it’s important to find a photographer who is not only skilled at capturing beautiful images, but also someone who you feel comfortable working with and who understands the unique challenges of photographing pets and children.
